DESCRIPTION:Camp Twin Lakes has partnered with Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation to host a First Responders Family Weekend. This fun-filled weekend offers first responders and their families exciting recreational camp activities in addition to unique opportunities to engage with other families who identify with challenges specific to the fire service profession both in the station and at home. The Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs and Georgia State Firefighters Association both recognize the benefits of promoting healthy work-life balance while celebrating firefighters’ service to the community. \n\n\n\nThis program is focused on providing not only a time of respite for firefighters and their family members\, but also opportunities for the fire service community to come together for connection\, support\, and encouragement in a relaxed environment.
