DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 5th Annual 9/11 Run to Remember 5K on Saturday\, September 6\, 2025\, in Downtown Cartersville\, GA\, commemorating the 24th anniversary of 9/11. \n\n\n\nHosted in partnership with the Cartersville Fire Department\, Cartersville Police Department\, and Metro Atlanta EMS\, this special race honors the bravery of first responders. The event includes a moving presentation of colors by the Cartersville Fire Department Honor Guard before the race. \n\n\n\nRunners will enjoy a unique course loved by NW GA Runners\, with a memorable turnaround through the bay of Fire Station #1\, complete with cheering firefighters and water for the return leg. \n\n\n\nProceeds benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation and Next Rung\, supporting firefighters and first responders.
